The holidays are upon us, and its time to look for that perfect New Years Dress. Here's this green sequence dress that I was really digging. The back of the dress has a low cross back that I love! Since its a sequence dress, I chose a black shoe, you don't want to do anything too crazy because there's so much going on already. Personally I would chose the creepers!

On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me, a sequin sweater dress in a pear tree! lol

I thought this sweater dress was so cute! I would totally wear this dress to a Christmas dinner. I gave you guys some options with some shoes you could pair this with. If i was going with my mom's family, which are a little more reserved, I would wear the nude heels. If I was going with my dads side of the family I would totally wear the velvet combat boots because I would be dancing all night long! I added the supergas if you wanted more of a casual look!

Art Basel '14 has come to an end and what a success it was. Basel brings culture, art, and fashion to the streets of Miami. Artist from all around the world unite and showcase their many talents. Basel has plenty to offer with their galleries, street art and fabulous events. I would definitely recommend everyone to come and check it out!

Style and comfort is what I always keep in mind when traveling, whether it's a quick flight to a city nearby or a flight across the country. You want to make sure you're turning heads while walking down the aisle to your seat. :) My go to outfit would have to be a jumper. They are easy to throw on and you can always accessorize. I like to accessorize mine with a hat. It's a good statement piece, but the real reason you will always find me wearing a hat on a flight is because they are so tough to travel with and pack!

I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving with friends and family! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year! With that being said I always come prepared! I made sure to throw this little shift dress of mine because after a huge meal it's never comfortable to sit in tight clothes :) Shift dress' are just so comfortable and easy for any occasion!

Tis The Season for Party Dresses

I was in Miami when I first laid eyes on this dress last year. I was shopping at Nordstroms and found this beauty in the Top Shop section! Top Shop always has fun cocktail/party dresses! The holidays are in full effect ladies and its time to shop, shop, and shop some more!

New Years is right around the corner and its always hard to find that perfect dress to start the year off right! Just because a dress doesn't fit you the way you want it to fit doesn't mean its a total bust. You can always get it altered! I am a big fan of altering my clothes especially because I like thrift shopping. This dress was actually up to my knees when I first bought it but then I got it pulled up just a bit and it gave me a higher neck line and shorter look!

When I have the time I love going thrift shopping! I have to be in a certain mood to go though because the key to finding greats things is to have the patience! I literally go through everything rack by rack. I found these pants at one of my favorite thrift shops in San Francisco called THRIFT TOWN right on 17th and Mission. I have found so many great pieces at that place. Since I am on the petite side, I sometimes go to the kids section and that is where I found these precious pants. They were definitely meant to be worn as pants by a child, but since I was lucky enough to fit into them I made them into high waisted cropped pants! So don't be scared to check out the kiddie section because you never know what treasures you'll find ;)
